Hardest that you could be.

And you will find no fear here,
in unkind words or the hardness of others.

And you will find no sadness here,
in the meanness of the world,
in the anger that comes from those who feel small.

And you will find no hurt here,
in a million insults or a single, softly spoken lie.

Because only a hard heart shatters.
Only a hard heart, breaks.

How today went.
Today was very upsetting, or maybe the latter part of today. Had to handle a very hard client who acts as if he has already bought the universe. It made me realize that the career that I have chosen is not an easy, smooth sailing one.

Knowledge is not enough.
You have to be strong and assertive, no matter how big shot your client is. After that difficult call, I just stared at the monitor for minutes and didn't notice I already got teary eyed. I may seem to have a tough disposition but deep within, I could get really emotional. I hate being emotional. I hate being weak. I'm already past that stage. 

Or so I thought.

During these times, I wish I can still talk to you.
Somehow, talking to you makes me feel better.
