mixed emotions
There's really no best time to determine people's thoughts by the way they respond to your status updates or comments. So far, my plan to work abroad has been receiving mixed responses from different important people in my life but the most notable one would be Tita Babes' litany err response. Hers came in an fb pm sounding really worried about this decision of mine. Well, bottom line of that pm was, "Why middle east for bejesus sake?!"
I'm not surprised or anything to hear this from my close relatives, especially when they personally know how tenacious my mom is. What mom says, everyooone and I mean - ALL, is compelled to act according to her command. I can't really blame her since knowing my family on the maternal side, this sure is a growing pain owing to my Lolo (RIP Lolo).

So, just got back from the hospital. A lot of things had happened during my hiatus in the hospital. To cut it short, my sister was confined for pneumonia and my relatives came to visit. Then they urged me to take the broker's exam this coming December which I politely refused. Eventually told then my plan to work abroad and surprisingly, none of them disagreed (that's is a good start).
Ultimately, only two more left in the list before my flight becomes official:
Mom and Dad.
