my 24th year

This my super delayed blog about my recently concluded 24th birthday shebang. A lot of things had happened since July 5th of last year. I thought of making a list of how my 23rd year was:

1. resignation (12.30.09) - I quit from genpact after almost 2 years of being part of the company. It wasn't a small decision for me. It was the first formal job that I had and I have grown to love the people I worked with. Nonetheless, I can't stay in that professional for long since I am a NARS and I should be working in a hospital, not in the corporate side of things. 
2. battle of the exes (January 2010) - I am unable to remember the exact date when we became "friends" but for what its worth, I had the closure that I deserve. We are texting now (hey, no malice here) and perhaps found a buddy whom i could share my rantings (apart from this journal).
3. bunjee swinging (May 2010) - yep, been there, done that. :D (I can now die happily without regrets, oh shoot, I haven't seen the pyramids yet! I can't die now.) I love monologues haha. Anyway, you should try Danao Adventure Park in Bohol. It's definitely one place in the Phils. you shouldn't miss. My cousins and I tried this bunjee swinging. When you're swinging like a human pendulum amidst the 700-meters high cliff and arrive at the peakest moment of your swing - you'd realize that you're somehow flying minus the freaking wings. =)
4. i liked, unlike and then liked again - magulo ba? let's simplify it then. I met someone in summer, liked him then all of a sudden, i fell out of like (here goes my word salad again haha). And now, just recently, after attending an anime convention, I fell in like again. And because I hate the fact that I wouldn't see him again, I searched for any traces of him in fb and twitter and viola! eureka! haha. Let's wait if he'll accept my request or not. (keeping my fingers crossed) Now for those asking about my darn love life, it's more of "like-life". And if you won't stop asking, you wouldn't "like-like" what I am gonna do to you. Nah, just kidding. I'm too happy to be bitchy right now. Let's spread optimism, shall we?
5. almost a nurse - i should be working in the hospital by now but due to some unforeseen moronic events (it's me being stupid), i didn't get the post and now I am waiting for the next volunteer batch to be interviewed. In short, I missed the final interview and the HR dickhead won't give me a chance to have it rescheduled! I still get mad over the memory of that ordeal. Anyhow, i'll try other means to get employed in a hospital. My goal this year is to be able to work overseas as soon as possible. 
6. puh-puh-puppy power! - it's my first to raise a dog and I am so glad I push through with it. Now, I am a happy owner of 7-month old shih tzu, the cutest living creature I've ever seen! :D Isn't he adorable?

This ends the list. I know there are still lots to be written but I am too tired na. Been posting some ads online since 8am.
