the sweet sorrow of joy.

i had a great day yesterday!

it's one of those days when you feel so blessed.. where every little thing that used to mess up just miraculously seems to fall into place.. there is though, this feeling of sweet sorrow that comes with extreme joy because you can't help but ask yourself, "wow, what did i do to deserve this?" and at the same time you'll stupidly give your own rationalization and say, "something bad's gonna happen, its too good to be true."

... its not really pessimism, its realism, the bittersweet realities of life. =]

but still, i shall enjoy it for the moment. :)

In My Past Life, I Was Probably A Sirena
Yesterday, I went to the sea.
Well, not exactly the sea, but the bay. Fine, not exactly the bay, but to MOA.

Me and my friends decided to watch National Treasure and were supposed to go to ATC, but then again, we ended up watching it at the Mall of Asia.. after the movie and before we left the mall, we opted to view the sight of the open sea behind the Mall of Asia –

which for me, was already enough.

On Fairness.
while walking along the bay at MOA last night, we accidentally bumped into my classmates, and their (my companions) acquaintances as well. The two were enjoying their quality moments together and we weren't supposed to butt in but knowing me, yeah, i could get somehow, pesky (God, I didnt know that there's something going na pala between those two. I am suprised, really. For crying out loud, they rarely talk in class!) Good thing we didn't stay with them longer and moved on with our strolling when someone popped up the question: "Ano kaya ang nakita ni ---- dun?"

tonight i realized.
why is it when we see a gorgeous girl holding hands with a rather ugly guy, we say, "siguro ang bait niyan," or, "siguro maganda kotse niyan." (notice the use of "niyan", its not "niya", its "niyan", parang object, di tao.)

or why is it when we see a really pretty girl pass by, too pretty and sexy and nice even, we say, "siguro anim daliri niyan sa paa," or, "siguro mabaho hininga niyan."

... all for the sake of "making the world fair" cliche. hmmm?

according to john rawles:
"no, things in this world weren't made equal, and what should be equal are the inequalities."

oh so true diba?
